On May 6, “China-Canada Tourism Year – Poly’s Zisha Cultural Exchange” event came to BC’s capital, Victoria. In the afternoon, Poly Art Gallery and Royal British Columbia Museum jointly held a seminar.
The Zisha delegation first visited the Royal BC museum. Jack Lohman, the CEO of the museum, and Kendrick Marr, the Chief Botanist of the museum, guided the delegation. The 7 million collections displayed in the museum show the long history of BC from the ice age to the modern age.
In subsequent activities, the master from Yixing, Youliang Fan, demonstrated pot making process, showed the traditional production process of Zisha pot to visitors.
After the delegation left the Royal BC Museum, some masters also communicated with local Zisha lovers.
