The 19th episode, “The World of Hongli” of “Poly-online: A view on Art” will focus on Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty. He experienced a multi-cultural education of Manchu, Han, Mongolian, and Tibetan since his childhood. He advocated Han culture and paid attention to cultural cultivation. His knowledge of the Confucian classics, poetry, songs and poems, calligraphy, and painting was exceptional. Our guides will be Li Ying and Zhao Yinxuan from the Chinese Ceramics & Works of Art Department of Beijing Poly Auction. Follow them and preview the upcoming Qianlong exhibition, exploring the imperial ideal of Hongli’s “Ten Great Campaigns”.
